From September 20 to October 1, 2022, eighteen travelers set out to see some of the most spectacular landscapes in the country on the National Parks of America tour.

The route

The journey was a greatest-hits tour of the American West:

  • The Grand Canyon’s North Rim
  • Zion and Bryce Canyon in Utah
  • The Grand Tetons
  • Yellowstone
  • Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota

That’s a lot of ground — “almost 2,000 bus miles,” in fact. But that’s the beauty of a group tour: someone else does the driving, and you get to watch the scenery roll by.

“I had the pleasure of taking 18 travelers to experience the beauty of God’s creations.”

Miles become memories

Long days on the road have a way of turning a group into friends. As Mary wrote afterward: “After almost 2,000 bus miles, we made great friends, had lots of laughs” — and “many everlasting memories!”

The West keeps calling

The national parks have become a favorite theme. The Colorado Rockies tour followed in June 2025, Utah’s Mighty Five in September 2026, and Canyon Country is planned for October 2028.
